Tips For Spray Painting And Technical

Spray paint is used to coat a surface ranging from furniture, cars homes, trucks with paint, varnishes, inks, etc. Even if a basic paint spray system includes a conventional paint spray, under pressure paint pot, compressed air system and flexible tubes. The most important equipment used in spray painting is the air gun. There are mainly two different methods of spraying gun: manual operation and automatic processes. In the manual mode, the spray gun is held by hand and moved over the area to be painted. For a continuous process, low pile, every
shot should overlap the previous stroke. In automatic mode, the gun head is set on a mounting block from which the flow of paint is delivered. For painting large surfaces with a uniform coat of paint, air guns are the best material to use. But for detailed work, such as photo editing, paint or nail art, air brushes are mainly used.

Spray painting techniques

Some of the techniques commonly used in paint spraying are described as follows:  HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure): This technique is similar to a common gun, because it uses a compressor to supply air. It requires a higher pressure and low volume of air to be nebulized and propel paint spray gun on the surface. This technique is generally applied in furniture finishing, cars and the cosmetics industry.

LVLP (low volume and high pressure): This technique uses a small amount of air to atomize the paint. Spray guns along a small low pressure compressor work and also have a small amount of paint. It is mainly used in small shops.

Electrostatic: In this technique, an electrically charged powder is sprayed onto the surface which is already an opposite electrical charge. The surface is cooked to fix the paint properly. The technology is environmentally friendly because there are no solvents that evaporate into the air or falling overboard. Electrostatic paint is more durable than liquid paint used to paint vehicles and other office equipment. Airless: In this technique, the spray guns are connected to a high pressure pump to atomize the coating by using different nozzle sizes to achieve the desired atomization. Airless spray coatings are mainly used for industrial and chemical applications because they penetrate better into pits and have a thick wet coat.
